2: Can I have a trial lesson?
Regardless who you are or what is your proficiency level, we encourage you to try a free lesson and discover how we can help you achieve your mandarin language goals. The trial lesson will be customized to fit your specific needs and level in same circumstances as real lessons. The trial comes with no obligations, but we are confident you’ll want to continue with us. Just let us know the best time for your lessons and we’ll get started right away.

3: When are classes?
Each class has a different schedule. Some classes are in the morning and some are in the afternoon or in the evening. Therefore, we will offer you a free assessment to decide your mandarin level, combined with your schedule to find out the best class to match your need.

4: I would like to join in a group lesson but I am often away on business or family trips. Is that ok?
Yes, we can make the schedule work for you! For the valid period of your contract, we can extend it for the period that you are away. After you return from your trip, you can either take private lessons to catch up or change to another group that suits you schedule and learning goals.

5: Will I have same teacher for all of my classes?
All teachers at Hanbridgemandarin had received a training program with our unique and standard teaching methodology. However, we provide a monthly assessment form for you to evaluate your teacher, make sure that you are satisfied with their teaching quality. So it is possible to have the same teacher or different teachers if you prefer.

6: What language do teachers use in the classroom?
Classes are held mostly in mandarin but when needed, you can ask questions in English and teachers are able to explain vocabulary and concepts in English.

7: Do I have to learn mandarin Characters? What is the focus of the lesson?
The lesson focus is mainly on communication skills – listening and speaking. Therefore, there will be many oral-activities in the classroom, and reading and writing practice will be done for homework if you have time or interest. However, we do recommend you learn some simple characters so that you can read some signs that frequently used in your daily life.
We are able to focus on other areas or special requests in private lessons.
