01Experienced and Professional
Throughout our ten- year history we have recruited only experienced language teachers who strive to make learning Chinese fun for under 18s. Our goal is to improve children’s Chinese while they enjoy every minute of their Hanbridge Mandarin Winter Camp experience.
02Intensive Chinese Classes
Kids attend camp Monday through Friday in small groups where they receive individual attention. Based on participants’ different language level and interests, lessons are age-appropriate, interactive and engaging.
Our Winter Camp includes learning about and trying a variety of traditional Chinese cultural activities like calligraphy, painting, and cut-paper art, as well as traditional instruments and opera. In addition, campers get to play one of China’s favorite games, ping pong! These activities bolster youngsters’ language learning through “hands-on” participation.
04Attractive Chinese Cities
Kids can register for Hanbridge Mandarin’s Winter Camp in either Shenzhen, China’s third largest city (just across the border from Hong Kong) or Chengdu, in central China and home of the Giant Panda Breeding Center.
05Safe and Supportive
Participants can enjoy a homestay with a welcoming Chinese family or comfortable hotel in our city center locations. Hanbridge Mandarin provides airport transfers, including pick-up upon arrival and drop-off for departure. We’ll keep in touch with parents, and of course allow children to contact their parents directly.
Every camper will receive a memory album recording their experiences when winter camp comes to a close. Yet, the learning does not have to come to an end. Campers can continue their Mandarin lessons after returning home through our online Chinese course provided by a live teacher in our virtual classroom.
Our Day Camp includes Chinese classes, afternoon activities and lunch. It runs daily from Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:30pm).
Our Homestay Winter Camp program is designed specifically for students who want an immersion experience living with a Chinese family.
This flexible program can be tailored to fit around your schedule and any activities that you have planned for your trip to China.

My kids loved this camp! It was a good experience. They had a great time and learnt Chinese in a fun and efficient way without even realizing it. The activities they arranged were fascinating, like paper cuttings, calligraphy, painting, were their favorite ones. Thank you Hanbridge Mandarin teachers, you are all nice and polite. We will miss Hanbridge Mandarin very much in near further. Highly recommended!
