结果：It can be used as an adverb(adv.). The meaning is“in the end/finally”. Here “结” should be pronounced with the second tone. Meanwhile, as an adverb here, it shows an adversative relation between the clauses.
最后：It is usually used as an adverb and it is usually translated as “finally/in the end”. It can also show an adversative mood as well.
